A weekend of giving back and fun entertainment is planned for the Grande Prairie Storm as they play their last two games before a holiday break.
The Storm are giving back by selling 2 for 1 tickets for games on Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19. Any fan who takes advantage of the offer will also get a 2 for 1 coupon for popcorn from Crystal Catering.
Fan Give Back Night is on for Friday’s 7:30 p.m. game against the Whitecourt Wolverines. Fans who bring an item for the food bank or an unwrapped toy for donation will receive a ballot for a prize draw that night.
Ugly Sweater Night is planned for Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. game against the Whitecourt Wolverines. Anyone who wears an ugly sweater will be entered to win a season pass for the remainder of this season.
As part of the Give Back theme, the Storm, thanks to sponsor Canadian Natural Resources, distributed tickets to students in Wembley, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, Clairmont, Hythe, Laglace, Valhalla, and Grande Prairie. Over 3,000 ticket vouchers for games on December 18 and 19, and January 2 and 3 were part of the program.
Pre-purchase tickets to avoid long pre-game lineups
Fans are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase tickets in advance due to consistently long lineups pre-game for recent games. The Revolution Place box office is open on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The 2 for 1 offer is for tickets of equal or lesser value.
