Dragons Double Storm

Not exactly the start to the last road trip before Christmas that the Storm were looking for.  Grande Prairie getting doubled 4-2 in Drumheller, as the Dragons ended up taking two of the three meetings between the two clubs this season.

After a scoreless opening period, the Dragons tallied twice in the middle frame.  They added two more in the early part of the third period before the Storm offence finally woke up.  Blake Bosch scored at the eight minute mark and Ryan Baskerville added a last minute tally, but it was too little, too late.

With both Sherwood Park and Drayton Valley winning on this night, the 16-20-2 Storm now find themselves two points back of the Crusaders for fifth and not that far in front of the teams chasing the.  Bonnyville is only two points back and the Thunder four off the pace.

Storm play in Okotoks Friday night before visiting the Calgary Mustangs on Sunday afternoon in their final game before the Christmas break.
