GP Storm Alumni Update
Two members from the 2014-2015 GP Storm have started their freshman years in NCAA hockey and are starting to contribute to their respective teams.
Karl El-Mir: a 19 year old forward from Montreal, Karl was acquired at the Jan. 10th deadline last year from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL). In 13 games with the Storm Karl scored 5 goals and had 4 assists. This year Karl is playing at the University of Connecticut and scored his first NCAA goal against U-Mass on November 11th.
Stefen Seel: a 21 year old forward from Invermere, BC. Stefen was acquired in a trade from the Kindersley Klippers (BCHL) last year and was a key member of last years team. In 35 games with the Storm he scored 7 goals and 15 assists. This year with the Concordia University Falcons (NCAA) he has scored 4 goals and 5 assists in 9 games. Last year Stefen was the winner of the Brian Nash Scholarship.
