The circus is coming to Grande Prairie!
A one man circus who calls himself Balanzo!
Balanzo will be doing his thing in the parking lot tailgate parties (weather permitting) and on the ice as part of the GT’s Oilfield Hauling/Isolation Equipment Service Ltd. Home Opener Weekend in the Canada Games Arena Sept. 14-15.
“We always try to do something a little different for the fans during home opener weekend and Balanzo is certainly different,” said Storm business manager Don Moon. “It will be a lot of fun for everyone.”
Balanzo tries to “find balance”. It’s a hilarious show about trying to fit into the world and with a little luck and lots of excitement Balanzo always finds his way!
Balanzo is a comic gentleman who's been seen live by over a million people around the world, had repeat invitations to Just for Laughs, sold-out shows at the National Arts Centre of Canada and once John Cleese of Monty Python said 'Hello' to him.
He is known for his silly elegance & amazing tricks and has performed at Ottawa Senator and Calgary Flames games.
“It involves balancing things, some flame and other skills that should keep the crowd at both games on the edge of their seat,” said Moon. “We really appreciate GT’s Oilfield Hauling and Isolation Equipment Service Ltd. for sponsoring Balanzeo for the home opener weekend and Eastlink for sponsoring the Saturday game.”
Game time for both games is 7:30 p.m. and, weather permitting, Balanzo’s first performance of the day will be late-afternoon in the parking lot both days.
