Kaiden Bugera Committed to University of Calgary Men’s Hockey Program

The Storm is proud to announce 04 Defenceman Kaiden Bugera has committed to the University of Calgary Dinos for the 25-26 season.

Bugera, from Calgary, AB, played over 200 AJHL games in his Junior career, notching 72 points and 534 PIMS. Kaiden has twice worn the “A” for the Storm. Last season, he was named the team’s Most Dedicated Player and this season, earned the team Most Valuable Player award. He is known for being a tough, tenacious, complete player. Bugera also led the AJHL in points throughout the playoff run this season.

Storm GM Mark Bomersback said, ” Very happy to see Kaiden to continue his hockey career while pursuing an education. He wore the Storm jersey with pride and was an outstanding player and person on and off the ice with us.”

Bugera added, “I’m proud and excited to announce my commitment to the University of Calgary. I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my family, coaches, teammates, and the entire Grande Prairie Storm organization for helping me reach this point. I can’t wait to get started with the Dinos and take this next step in my career.”
