Former Grande Prairie Storm captain Darren Kramer has signed his first pro contract with the Ottawa Senators.
Details of the entry level deal have not been released.
Kramer spent parts of three seasons with the Storm, winning an AJHL title during his rookie season in 2008-09.
He played the last two years with the WHL's Spokane Chiefs, serving as the club's captain this past season.
The Peace River native was a 6th round pick of the Senators in last year's NHL Draft.
