Power Outage

Two road games.  Zero goals scored.

Doesn't exactly take a rocket scientist to figure out why the Grande Prairie Storm are now 0-2 on their most recent trip, as they got thumped 7-0 Friday night in Lloydminster.

Unlike their 4-0 setback two nights earlier in Fort McMurray, when the Storm were in the game until the Oil Barons scored two empty netters in the final minute, Grande Prairie was never really in the contest in Lloydminster.  Bobcats outshot the Storm 51-20, who pretty well left goalie Jacob Suppes alone to fend for himself this evening.

Bobcats only led 1-0 after the first period, but put things away in the second when they fired four more pucks past Suppes.  For good measure, they added two more in the third, including one on the powerplay.

The two squads will play again Saturday night in the Border City.  Storm then get a few days off, before closing out their road trip Wednesday in Spruce Grove.
