Hockey players hoping to play for the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League in 2021-2022 are invited to fill out an invitation letter.
The Prospect’s Camp will go August 20-22 in Revolution Arena. See the invitation letter here.
.“This camp will give players a tremendous opportunity to compete for a roster spot for the upcoming season as well as be identified as a prospect for the future,” says Storm Head Scout/Director of Recruiting Jason Williamson. “We also feel that given the current environment the timing of our camp will give players time to prepare in order to be able to show their talents to the best of their abilities”Once registered for camp the team will notify each player of acceptance to camp and will also send out a complete schedule as camp gets close.
Players will be informed of their standing with the Storm at the conclusion of camp with successful players being invited to the Main Camp, which will begin shortly after the Prospect’s camp.
“We believe we offer a great opportunity for players to develop and take their game to the next level,” said Williamson. “Our organization, staff, facilities, community and fans are amongst the best that Junior A hockey has to offer.”
The Storm are two-time AJHL champions and have been at the top, or near the top, in attendance every year.
