RECAP Game 4: Storm Drop Back End of Double Header

With the Storm amassing 34 penalty minutes, the Spruce Grove Saints were able to score twice on two separate 5-on-3 powerplays to beat the Storm on Satturday night at Revolution Place. The Saints opened up the scoring late in the first period, but Milot-Ouellet (3), from Blake and Hader, would draw it before the first intermssion with 25 seconds left in the frame. 5 straight penalties in the 2nd period, including a 10 minute misconduct for a check from behind, would result in the Saints pulling ahead 2-1 with their first powerplay maker of the regular season. Without some big saves from Kaeden Lane, it would have certainly been a bigger deficit after the second period. The penalties continued to flow in the third period, and the Saints would add 3 more goals in the third, with one being on a 5-on-3 powerplay. Final shots for the contest were 28-14 for the Saints.

The Storm look to get back on track this Tuesday at Revolution Place.
