Saints Prove Challenging as Storm Head Out to Face Them for Third Game

The Saints proved to be as challenging as their rank as the #1 team in the country title suggests. The Storm managed to keep the Saints to five goals each night, slightly less than the team's average of 5.18 goals-per-game prior to facing the Storm.

The Storm also managed three goals over two nights, becoming one of four teams in the league who have scored multiple goals against the Saints this season.

The squads will face each other for the third game in a row on Friday, October 16 in Spruce Grove, before the Storm head to Drayton Valley on Saturday and Sherwood Park on Sunday. The Storm have picked up four of their six points against Drayton Valley (one win, one loss) and Sherwood Park (5-4 OT and 4-3 SO losses opening weekend).

On Friday, October 23, the Storm are back at Revolution Place for the first of two home games against the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Friday is Pink Night in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, and Saturday, October 24, is the Halloween Costume Party and Tim Horton's Puck Toss in support of the Lion's Club. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Storm gave away $500 in prizes on Saturday night's match against the Spruce Grove Saints, and will continue with big prize nights all season.
