The Grande Prairie Storm are pleased to announce that they have acquired 19 year old D-man Nathan Bizeau (Stony Plain, AB) from the Yarmouth Mariners (MHL). Nathan has played 2 years of Junior A hockey in both the AJHL and the MHL.
Coach / GM Kevin Higo: “With the departure of Frank Sullivan to the NAHL we were looking for a veteran D-man that could play on the power play. We remember Nathan from both his year of Midget AAA in St. Albert as well as his year in the AJHL with Brooks and Whitecourt. Once we found out he was available from Yarmouth we quickly jumped at the opportunity to bring him to Grande Prairie. He is a left handed, veteran D-man, that skates well, and is a non 20 year old. All 4 of those things are check marks in the right boxes for us. We also did our research and liked what we had to hear about his work ethic, dedication, and character from people that know him.”
Nathan will join the rest of the Storm for Training Camp starting Aug. 26th at Revolution Place.
