The Grande Prairie Storm are very pleased to announce that Mikkel Hrechka has signed a Letter of Intent to play for the team beginning in the 2021-2022 season.
The six-foot, 190 pound defenceman joins the Storm from the Warman Wildcats U18 AAA Team of the Saskatchewan Midget “˜AAA’ Hockey League.
The 17-year-old Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan native tallied 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points in 24 games played for the Prairie Hockey Academy Midget Varsity team in the CSSHL last season.
The Storm would like to welcome Mikkel and look forward to seeing him on the ice with his new teammates very soon.
