The Grande Prairie Storm have added 17 year old Forward Jake Elmer to their active roster from the Regina Pats (WHL). Last year Elmer played 2 games for the Storm as an affiliate player and also scored 24 goals and 45 points for the Prep Team at the Edge School in Calgary.
Coach/GM Kevin Higo: ” Getting closer to the Jan 10th deadline we have specific areas that we want to add to our line up. With Jake coming in we add a skilled forward that can skate and provide offense for us. He is familiar with some players on our team so the transition from the Pats to the Storm should be quick.”
Elmer is expected to arrive in time for the game Friday Vs the Grizzlies and be in the line up.
