The Storm are pleased to announce that Sam Erkkila (’01) will be joining the Storm for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. The Storm are ecstatic to add Sam’s talents to the roster, as he plays with speed, pace & skill. Sam put up 119 points in 80 games in the same Michigan High School Hockey league as our current Storm Rookie of the Year Alex Nordstrom.
In addition to the above signing, the Storm are proud to announce the extensions of General Manager & Director of Hockey Operations, Mark Bomersback and Head Coach and Associate General Manager, Matt Keillor. Under both Matt and Mark, the Storm have made major improvements in the standings, posting the best point total last year since 2012-2013 and their first season over .500 in that same span.
