Storm and Thunder to meet again Saturday
The Grande Prairie Storm will face the Drayton Valley Thunder for the 2nd game of a two game home stand on Saturday. Friday night the Storm started the weekend off right with a 6-1 win.
The Line of J. Zablocki (2G-1A)-L. Mahura (3A)-B. Wagner (3A) combined for 9 points.
The game was the 4th meeting of the year between the two clubs and with the win the Storm evened the season series to 2 wins for each team. Saturday will mark the 5th meeting and the 6th won't happen until January 29th when the Storm visit the Omniplex in Drayton Valley.
Newly acquired Tate Sproxton made 25 saves for his first AJHL win. The Storm Power Play was 5 for 9 and the Penalty Kill was 3 for 3. Attendance was 1081.
