The Grande Prairie Storm have acquired a new forward to help add some scoring punch.
The team announced today they have acquired Forward Rory Court from the Dryden Ice Dogs of the SIJHL in exchange for future considerations.
Court is a 19 year old product of Winnipeg. The 5’10” , 175lb left shot center was in his second season with the Ice Dogs, posting 8 goals and 14 assists in 16 games, and leading the team in pims.
“Rory really wanted to come out to Alberta to play, and there were several teams pursuing him” said Head Coach Matt Hughes, “we’re thrilled that he agreed to come here, and we were able to put the deal with Dryden together.”
Court is expected to be in the lineup this weekend when the Storm host the Sherwood Park Crusaders at the CGA. Game time is 7:30, Friday and Saturday night.
