Storm Bolster Blue Line with Raegan Wiles

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB

April 11, 2019

The Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League are proud to announce Calgary product Raegan Wiles has signed a Letter of Intent for the 2019/20 season. Raegan played his AAA midget hockey for the Calgary Northstars in the Alberta Midget Hockey League. The 16-year-old recorded 7goals and 9assists in 33 regular season games while adding another 2pts in 5 playoff games last season.

Coach Keillor spoke very highly of the young blueliner:

“Raegan is an unbelievable skater and with a very high ceiling. He plays a very professional style of game, with very mature decision making. He played a regular shift for us in wins against Spruce Grove and Drumheller this season, and hedid not look out of place in Junior A hockey. You can’t get distracted by some of these players' ages, they can play and they can make an impact right away. I really like how things are shaping up on the back end. If fans like seeing a fast, creative, and offensive brand of hockey, they're going to have plenty of opportunities to cheer for the next few years.”

Fans will get their first opportunity to see Raegan and his new teammates when Storm main camp begins in late August. Check back soon for more announcements!
