The Grande Prairie Storm have traded forward Brett Meerman to the Blackfalds Bulldogs in exchange for forward Zach Brooks.
The 6’2″ 195lb forward joins the Storm after spending the Covid shortened 2020-2021 season with the West Kelowna Warriors of the BCHL where he tallied 3 goals and 7 assists for 10 points in 20 games played. The 20 year old Bromont Quebec native tallied 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points in 57 games the season before while playing for Coach Vandekamp’s Cowichan Valley Capitals in the BCHL.
The Storm would like to welcome Zach and look forward to seeing him on the ice with his new teammates at Main Camp on August 29th. The Storm would also like to thank Brett for his service to the team and wish him all the best moving forward.
