The GP Storm jumped on the bus early this morning to start their mid week 2 game trip to face the Crusaders and Pontiacs. Wednesday night the Storm will face one of the hottest teams in the AJHL in the Crusaders. This will be the 5th meeting between the two teams with the Storm earning 2 points so far with an overtime and shoot out loss.
Thursday the Storm will travel to Bonnyville to play the Pontiacs for the 4th meeting of the year. The Pontiacs are one of the highest scoring teams in the league with 3 players in the top 10 in scoring.
Following the two game road trip the Storm will return back to Grande Prairie for a rare weekend off. The rest will be important for the Storm as they are in the middle of a stretch of 8 games straight on the road.
