The Grande Prairie Storm are set to open the 2016 Training Camp on Friday Aug. 26th. The Storm will welcome 60 players that will be assigned to 3 teams
and will practice and play games for 3 days. On Monday Aug. 29th the annual Brian Nash Game will take place at 7:30 PM.
Coach / GM Kevin Higo: ” This years camp will be a bigger camp then we have had in the past 2 years. A major reason for that is the amount of Peace Region
players that will be attending. in 2014 we had 5 players from the region. In 2016 we could have as many as 25 and that includes returnees Landon Vollman, Cruz Cote,
Carter Wolski, and recently signed Logan Mazerolle. There will be competition for all 3 positions which will make for a very competitive camp.”
