Amid the closing of Revolution Place and COVID-19 concerns, the Grande Prairie Storm have postponed their Spring Camp and Tales from the Penalty Box fundraiser in two separate statements:
Storm Spring Camps
Due to facilities in Grande Prairie being shut down, the AJHL is not currently sanctioning any camps due to COVID-19 concerns. The organizaztion is looking at all options available to hold the camp at a resonable time frame. Patience is appreciated as we will hold all spots in the camp, and full refunds will be given if the camp cannot run or new dates do not work for players that have already paid.
Storm Tales from the Penalty Box Fundraiser
In light of the recent public health restrictions recommended by the Alberta Government to cancel all events that have more than 250 attendees, the Grande Prairie Storm has postponed the ?Tales from the Penalty Box? Fundraiser until further notice.
We will continue to monitor all appropriate medical and public safety advice, and we encourage our supporters to take all reasonable precautions.
Our goal is to reschedule the event as soon as it is appropriate and prudent. Until then, we thank you for your patience and hope you stay healthy.
