STORM SIGN 20-YEAR-OLD DEFECEMAN AGYEMAN

The Grande Prairie Storm are pleased to announce the signing of 20-year-old Defenceman Damon Agyeman.

The Cochrane, AB native played last season with the Ontario Jr. Reign in the USPHL. Damon tallied 1 goal and 17 Assists in 16 games to go along with 14 penalty minutes.

”At 6’3” 195 lbs Damon combines good skating ability and on-ice vision ‘He’s a mature young man both physically and mentally, who will provide leadership on the back end next year” said Mark Bomersback GM of the Storm.

Damon isn’t totally new to the Storm lineup as he dressed for one game as an affiliated player back in the 2017-2018 season. Damon went on to sign with the Medicine Hat Tigers the following season as a 16-year-old.

The Grande Prairie Storm welcomes Damon & family to the city of Grande Prairie. Fans can get their first look at Damon along with the rest of the Storm when the Main Camp kicks off on August 26th.
