GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB

The Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League are proud to announce that 2001-born forward Adin Kennedy has committed to the team for the 2019/20 season. The 18-year-old from Lintlaw, SK played his midget hockey for the Edge School Prep team in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League. Last season, the 6'1″ 2-way forward finished second in goal scoring with 15 in 34 games while adding 14 assists.
Coach Keillor spoke about Kennedy's style of play:
“He plays a very mature game especially away from the puck. He's an excellent skater, strong and explosive first three strides. He plays a hard game and he competes; something we put a high priority on for this season. He came to spring camp in Grande Prairie and made an impression on the scouts right away both with his on-ice abilities and his character. Adin's 2-way game will really compliment our style of play next season and give us stability within our skill”.
Fans will get the opportunity to see Adin when he joins the Storm for main camp in late August. Check in soon for exhibition dates and times! Download the Storm App available in the App Store for future signings, exciting team announcements and much more.
