The Grande Prairie Storm are excited to announce the signing of ’05 Forward Chase Christensen for the 2023/2024 Season. Chase Currently plays for the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs U18 AAA team of the AEHL. In 30 games this season, Chase has tallied 16 goals to go along with 15 assists. In 68 career games at the U18 level he has scored 36 goals with a total of 71 points.
Storm Head Coach, Eric Thurston had this to say about Christensen.” Chase is a very skilled young man that has put up great numbers in his two years of U18 AAA ” We feel he will be able to continue that production at the junior A level and most importantly here in Grande Prairie”. Not only skilled, he’s a smart player with great offensive instincts with a quick release for a shot” watching some of his goals this year it’s on the stick off the stick and in the back of the net”.
