The Grande Prairie Storm is proud to announce the signing of 99 forward Noah Walters. The Calgary product suited up in all 34 regular season games with the Midget AAA Flames scoring 18 goals and adding 14 assists eventually leading his team in both points with 32 and penalty minutes with 90. Walters didn’t show any signs of slowing down amassing another 7 goals and 3 assists in 8 playoff games with the Flames to finish his midget career.
Matt Keillor: “Noah became one of our early targets when Bomersback joined our team. We had a lot of good information on him both on and off the ice. Two key characteristics we wanted to bolster on our roster was speed and skill, both of which Noah displays nightly. We don’t want soft skill, Noah isn’t soft, he’s a gritty player that gets under your skin and has a natural ability to find the net. He led the way at spring camp with some very impressive offensive output. I look forward to seeing his progression over the summer. We are very pleased to have him in a Storm jersey this season”
