STORM SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Grande Prairie Storm are holding a 10-week skill development program.

Storm assistant coach Sam Waterfield will be coaching the program.

Parents are encouraged to sign their children up so they can experience skating with Storm players at Revolution Place and learning from the Storm’s best including guest appearances from head coach Mike Vandekamp.

The program is designed to help players improve their hockey IQ and decision-making and intended for intermediate/advanced players who want to compete.

The program includes:

* 10 sessions at 45 minutes on ice – one per week

* Themes – puck control, passing, shooting mechanics, edge control, power skating and small area games

* Cost is $300

* Program dates (limit of 15 skaters) are U9 Monday @ 4-4:45 p.m. (staring Nov. 30); U11 Wednesday 4-45 p.m. (starting Dec. 1; and U13 Tuesday 7-8 a.m. (starting Dec. 2).

2021 JUNIOR STORM SPRING PROGRAM

The Storm is offering a spring hockey program to develop the best players and coches for the 2021 spring season.

An ID camp will be held by the Storm in December.
