Storm start off southern swing on high note.

Storm Start Road Trip Off With 2 Wins The GP Storm started their longest weekend road trip of the year off right with 2 wins in Calgary. Wednesday Night the Storm started the trip off with a 7-3 win versus the Calgary Canucks. Luke Mahura lead the way with 3 goals and Michael Clarke also scored 2 goals against his former team. Tate Sproxton was solid between the pipes making 35 saves for the win. Thursday night the Storm travelled across Calgary to face the Mustangs and were able to squeeze out a 4-3 win. Chase Bell, Ian Mclellan, and Michael Clarke scored the first 3 goals and then Luke Mahura scored the eventual winner mid way through the 3rd period. Tate Sproxton made 29 saves to earn his 4th win with the Storm. The boys will now enjoy a day off and some much needed rest before playing 2 games in less then 24 hours in Okotoks and Olds. With some of the players from Southern Alberta today is a chance to spend quality time with family and friends. Other players will take advantage of the day off and do some early Christmas shopping.
