STORM TO FACE THE OIL BARONS IN THE FIRST ROUND
The battle for the North Division for the Grande Prairie Storm will begin on the road in Ft. McMurray with Game 1 on Thursday, March 7th, 2019. Game 2 will follow the next day, Friday, March 8th, 2019. The Storm will travel home on Satruday and host the Oil Barons in Games 3 & 4 on Sunday, March 10th & Monday, March 11th. If necessary, Game 5 is slated to go on Wednesday March 13th.
The Storm are getting hot at the right time, completing a weekend sweep against the top ranked team, the Bonnyville Pontiacs by scores of 3-2 and 6-2, for a record of 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. The regular season will conclude this weekend with games in Spruce Grove & Sherwood Park.
