The Grande Prairie Storm continued to tweak their lineup in preparation for this weekend’s Regular Season Opening games (Friday and Saturday vs. Drayton Valley, tickets on sale now).
Storm GM Blaine Bablitz has sent defenseman Devin Henes (94) to the Cowichan Capitals of the BCJHL, in exchange for forward Jeremy McNeil (95). McNeil spent last season with the Edge Hockey program in Calgary.
In addition, Storm Head Coach Matt Hughes has assigned his Team Captains for the season. Sasha Larocque will wear the ‘C’ for the Storm, while Grande Prairie product Jordan Mctaggart will wear an ‘A’, along with returning veteran Ryan Baskerville.
