The Grande Prairie Storm teamed up with the Heart & Stroke Foundation during the regular season to help fund-raise for the cause.
The team wore special jerseys that were auctioned off and also held a Frisbee toss to raise funds.

On behalf of the Heart and Stroke Foundation I would like to thank the Storm Hockey Team, its Management and Board of Directors for supporting other Non-Profit programs in the Grande Prairie area. On February 10th the Heart and Stroke Foundation joined with the Storm and Brogan Safety for the 11th annual Frisbee Toss in support of Heart and Stroke. This annual event is not only a friendly fundraiser but also a major awareness evening and kick off to our annual February Heart Month Campaign.
