The Grande Prairie Storm are pleased to announce that 1997 born forward Dallas Comeau has committed to the Storm for the 2015-2016 AJHL season.
Dallas comes to the Storm from the Pursuit of Excellence (POE) Prep Team based out of Kelowna, BC. During the 14-15 season Dallas had 27 goals and 18 assists in 57 games. He was voted the team MVP as well as represented POE in the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) All-Star game and played in the NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dallas is 5'10″ and 160 lbs and was the Captain this year for the POE Prep team. His hometown is listed as Calgary, but spent some of his early childhood in Grande Prairie.

Coach / GM Kevin Higo: ” Our scouting staff identified Dallas early in 2014 as a prospect after watching him in a showcase tournament. At the CSSHL playoffs in Penticton I was able to watch Dallas as well as meet him in person. Dallas came up to Grande Prairie for our spring camp in April and had an impressive camp. He is a versatile forward that plays a strong 2 way game and competes at a high level. He has a solid work ethic and his leadership skills were a major factor when it came to recruiting him. We expect Dallas to step right into the 15-16 line up and contribute right away.”
