The Grande Prairie Storm are pleased to announce that 1997 born forward Jack Lofroth has committed to the Storm for the 2015-2016 AJHL season.
Jack comes to the Storm from the Okanagan Hockey Academy in Penticton, BC where he was the Captain of the Midget Prep Red Team. During the 14-15 season Jack had 10 goals and 37 assists in 59 games. Jack is from Terrace, BC and is 6' and 172 pounds.
Coach / General Manager Kevin Higo – ” We are very excited to have Jack join the Storm for 15-16. Our scouts had the opportunity to watch him play early in the year and then in February Jack was able to come to Grande Prairie and see the city, rink, and meet the Storm family. After that I was able to watch him play in the CSSHL playoffs and got a chance to see what an all round player he is. He can play all 3 forward positions and from talking to the people at OHA his leadership skills are outstanding. We look for Jack to come in and contribute right away and be a key part of the Storm future.”
