TRADE: Storm Complete Two Moves

GRANDE PRAIRIE, October 30, 2018. The Grande Prairie Storm have completed a pair of moves ahead of this Friday's game against the Spruce Grove Saints.

 

Earlier last week, G Ethan Slobodzian ('99) was sent to the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL for future considerations. Slobodzian started 19 games in 2017-2018, with a 3.73 GAA and .892 SV%. In two starts in 2018-19, Slobodzian posted a 4.44 GAA and .886 SV%.

 

Today, D Colin MacPherson ('00) was traded to the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL for D Payton McIsaac ('00). In 70 games with the Storm, MacPherson logged 1 goal and 9 assists, and 158 PIMS. Coming back the other way, McIsaac spent time with the Saskatoon Blades & Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL, while also spending time with the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the AJHL. In 55 games in the AJHL, McIsaac has 2 goals and 10 assists while amassing 104 PIMS. In 6 games in the WHL, McIsaac scored no points, and had 10 PIMS.

 

The Storm would like to wish both Slobodzian and MacPherson the best of luck as they continue a new chapter in their junior careers. The Storm would also like to welcome McIsaac to Grande Prairie!

 

McIsaac will join the team tomorrow night, and will be ready to go for Grande Prairie's lone match this weekend, Friday night against the Spruce Grove Saints.
