The Storm have traded forward Cruz Coté ('99) to the Penticton Vees of the BCHL in exchange for defenceman Jarin Sutton ('99). Sutton – acquired earlier by Pentiction from Victoria and hails from Prince George – has 8 points in 43 games in the BCHL. Cruz Coté logged 55 points in 172 games with the Grande Prairie Storm. The Falher, AB native was then dealt to the Cowichan Valley Capitals as part of another deal.
The Storm have also traded defenceman Walker Coté ('98) to the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL in exchange for future considerations.
Both Coté's spent their Bantam and Midget years with the Grande Peace Athletic Club, and have been instrumental pieces in the success of the Storm on and off the ice. The Storm would like to wish them both future success in their hockey endeavours and extend a sincere thank you to their contibutions in the community and on the ice.
