The Grande Prairie Storm prides itself on growing the game of hockey in our community. As part of that mission, we are committed to providing a variety of high quality programs throughout the year, designed specifically for young Peace Country players. From fall and spring development skates, to elite spring hockey, to fun summer camps, to all-female programming, to high performance clinics, there is something for every player. All of our programs are run by Grande Prairie Storm coaching staff, with help from current Storm players. We focus on skill development, game play, and fun.

Current Junior Storm Offerings:
After School Development:
Development sessions for U9 and U11 players. Session 2 begins in late October/ early November and is open for registration. All sessions are at Bonnetts Energy Centre.
Skills and Games:
Available for U11 and U13 players during the Teacher Strike. Sessions are at Design Works Centre Tuesday-Thursday, October 7-9. Limited spaces remaining.
Spring ID Skates:
Tryout skates for our 2026 Jr Storm Spring teams. Teams offered at individual birth years from 2012-2019, and U9-U15 Female. Teams offered may include gold, silver, or jamboree, depending on registration and evaluations. Tryout skates are December 27-29 at Bonnetts Energy Centre.
Storm the Puck 3 on 3 Holiday Edition:
Join us for a fun 3 on 3 draft style tournament over the holiday break! 2 divisions- U11 and U13. December 29-31 at Bonnetts Energy Centre.
