Goaltender Connor Mackenzie of the Grande Prairie Storm is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week. Connor posted a 2-0 record for the Storm, allowing only three goals against, and recording a win over the division leading Spruce Grove Saints.

Mackenzie (2002) opened the weekend with a 3-2 win over the Camrose Kodiaks and 37 saves. On Saturday, November 19th, Connor made 51 saves to defeat the Spruce Grove Saints 2-1.

Connor Mackenzie (Toronto, ON) is second overall among AJHL netminders with a .931 save percentage and seventh in the category of goals against average at 2.95.
