The GP Storm would like to announce they have acquired the CJHL playing rights for 19 year old Sheldon Hubbard from the Trail Smoke Eaters (BCHL) in exchange for future considerations. Sheldon has returned to his home town of Grande Prairie and skated with the Storm last night at Revolution Place.
” Sheldon is a physical, hard to play against D-man that will be a great addition to our team. We identified Sheldon as a D-man we wanted to acquire by trade earlier in the year. We made a pitch to Trail at the Dec. 1st deadline, but were unable to get a deal done at that time. He will skate this week with the team before we leave on the road trip and expect him to play in Ft McMurray.”
