The Grande Prairie Storm are excited to announce the signing of 04 forward Eliott Mikesch for the 2023/2024 Season. Born in Hancock MI. This past season Eliott played in the USHS-WI for Bay Port High . In 22 games this season, the 5 ’11 forward tallied 22 goals to go along with 20 assists. In 3 playoff games for Bay Port Eliott found the back of the net 4 times to go along with 2 assists.
Storm GM, Mark Bomersback had this to say about Mikesch .” Eliott is a smart offensive minded forward who can score , has good speed , can create plays and brings a strong compete level to our line up. ” While watching him he’s one of those players that the puck just follows on the ice, he is always in the right spot defensively and offensively, he’s a player that instantly when plugged into our line up will help with the offence / our overall complete game. As a staff we are excited to add a player of his caliber and character to our line up”.
Mikesch had this to say about joining the Storm. ” I’m very excited to get to Grande Prairie to continue my development and help the team win. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the fans and the city of Grande Prairie.”
