The Grande Prairie Storm is proud to announce that Assistant Captain Will Harris has committed to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Trojans Men’s Hockey team for the 2026-2027 season. Harris, an Okotoks, AB local, has played 193 games for the Storm since the 2022-2023 playoff run, tallying 124 points along with 292 penalty minutes. During his tenure with the Storm, Harris earned the team Unsung Hero and Hustle Awards.
GM Mark Bomersback said, “The Grande Prairie Storm staff are very excited for Will’s commitment to the SAIT Trojans. Will has been a steady presence on and off the ice with the Storm for the last several seasons, and was a fan favourite in the community. We appreciate all Will did while wearing a Storm jersey, and look forward to seeing him continue his hockey career at SAIT!”
