The Grande Prairie Storm set to host Peace Region Spring Camp

This weekend over a 100 Peace Region Prospects will make their way to Revolution Place for a chance to show their skills off to the Grande Prairie Storm. The camp will be divided up into Bantam and Midget groups with each getting 4 ice times. Players will be on the ice for both practice and game settings, as well there will be goalie sessions on Sunday. All ice sessions are open to the public and the schedule can be found on the Storm Web Page. Saturday afternoon there will be a player and parent information session to educate everyone on the GP Storm, the AJHL, as well as Junior A hockey.

Coach/GM Kevin Higo : ” We are very excited to be able to host the Peace Region Camp this weekend. The response has been outstanding as we have received more commitments to attend then we expected. As a staff we are trying to build a relationship with the Peace Region players and also get them more information about the Storm. We would like to get to know the players and their families earlier and get them involved in Storm camps at a younger age. We have worked hard at providing spring, summer, fall, and winter development camps and having a specific Peace Region Spring Camp is just part of it. Our objective this weekend is to find the next Tanner Fritz, Carter Rowney, Darren Kramer, Dennis Rix, Dustin Sather, the list goes on.”
