The GP Storm have traded defenseman Al Macpherson (96) and future considerations to the Laronge Ice Wolves (SJHL) for Braden Oleksyn (96).

“We were looking to add a skilled forward that could play in our top 6. Braden played a full year of Junior A hockey as a 16 year old in the SJHL and put up 28 points. He has some WHL experience and can also play a 200 foot game. We did our research on Braden and were happy with the reports we received on him. Braden fits into the age group we are building with and we are excited to add him to our lineup.” said Kevin Higo
Braden will travel to Grande Prairie today but will not be available for the game.
