The Grande Prairie Storm are pleased to announce that Murray Toews will be taking over as President June 1st, and Dennis Rix will be taking over as Business Manager along with his current role of Assistant Coach.
Toews will be leading the new group of investors who are taking control of the team heading into next season. Toews first priority is to get the financial support and excitement back into the organization. “We are setting the stage for the community to no longer save the Storm, but to say lets go Storm!”
Rix will be taking on the role as bussiness manager “I went to university to do two things, play hockey and earn my business degree. Now to be Assistant Coach and Business Manager with the team that gave me those opportunities is a dream.”
With the support of the community, The Storm is excited to get back to the upper echelon of Junior A hockey.
