The Grande Prairie Storm are very pleased to announce that Edge Lambert has chosen to play his final season of junior hockey with his hometown team.
The six foot, 195 pound forward joins the Storm from the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League.
The 19-year-old Grande Prairie native tallied 19 goals and 14 assists for 33 points in 77 career games with the Americans.
Prior to making the jump to the WHL, Edge played two seasons for the Grande Prairie Storm U18 Midget AAA team of the AEHL.
He also laced up for the Junior ‘A’ Storm this past season prior to joining the Americans for the COVID 19-shortened season. He tallied two goals and two assists in four games for the Storm during that time.
The Storm would like to welcome Edge and look forward to seeing him on the ice with his new teammates at Main Camp at the end of August.
