The Grande Prairie Storm announce the following roster moves, ahead of the weekend games.
2008 D Noah Chadi has been called up to Join Team Canada West for their remaining two games of the World Junior A Challenge tournament. Noah Joins Max Leduc and Matthew Lesyk as team Canada West looks to beat Team Canada East in the first semi final on Friday.
2008 D Ethan Creran has been called back up to join the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL. Ethan was reassigned to the Storm in early October and has been a great addition on the backend since his arrival.
In return, with the roster shortage, the Storm have called up a few affiliate players. 2008 Forward , Sylvan Lake product Sullivan Hookey from the Red Deer Chiefs will make his Storm Debut tomorrow night vs the Lloydminster Bobcats . Hookey has had a great first half for the Chiefs this season. In 17 games, he has scored 12 goals to go along with 20 assist. He currently sits third in the AEHL in points, with 32. A familiar face and local area product, 2009 Forward Easton Doran, has also joined the team. The Falher, Alberta forward has played 2 games already this year for the Storm and will look to add to that. Easton, who currently plays for NAX U18 prep has also had a great first half of the season so far. In 11 games for NAX, Easton had scored 8 goals to go along with 9 assist. Also joining the Storm will be 2008 left shot Dman Jeremy Moellenbeck. The St. Albert product currently plays for the U18 AAA Fort Saskatchewan Rangers in the AEHL. The 5’11” 175 pound dman has played in 21 games this season, scoring 3 times while adding 9 assist to go along with 40 penalty minutes.
The Storm take the ice at home for the final two games of 2025 on Friday night at 7pm and Saturday night at 6pm, both against the Lloydminster Bobcats.
