The Grande Prairie Storm are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Celebrity Fundraising Dinner for March 21st!
The sophomore edition of the fundraiser will feature 3 exceptional speakers accompanied by TSN’s Darcy Lynch:
Jason Strudwick (2nd appearance)
Back by popular demand, this ex-NHLer spent 14 seasons in the NHL and his final 3 seasons with the Edmonton Oilers. Following a strong WHL campaign with the Kamloops Blazers, he played 674 NHL games while amassing 811 PIMS. He currently works in Edmonton on TSN 1260 weekdays from 2-6pm.
Brian McGrattan (1st appearance)
Brian played 609 games in the NHL and put fear into the his opponents every single night. He played 5 years in the OHL before making the jump to the AHL, and spent 4 years with the Calgary Flames over his long pro career. He currently still works in the NHL, advocating for mental health awareness in sport.
Marty McSorley (1st appearance)
The epitome of “old-time hockey”, Marty spent a grueling 19 years in the NHL after 2 years in the OHL. He spent 4 years witht he Edmonton Oilers, with many nights going after whoever had the stones to take a shot at The Great One. He played a whopping 961 games in the NHL, amassing a staggering 3,381 PIMS.
In an exclusive opportunity, Jason Strudwick, Brian McGrattan and Marty McSorley with the help of TSN?s Darcy Lynch, will recount events, answer questions, mingle with the crowd and sign autographs.
The event will take place at the Revolution Place on March 21st, 2020. Corporate tables and sponsorship are limited and there are less than 75 tickets for the general public.
