The Grande Prairie Storm have traded defenseman Brandon Hodge to the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.  Coach Matt Hughes says it was not an easy decision to make.

“Brandon is a great young man and was a popular member of not only the team, but the community.  We sincerely wish him all the best.”

In La Ronge, Hodge will play for a familiar face.   The Ice Wolves head coach is Shawn Martin, a former Storm assistant coach and scout.

Coming to Grande Prairie in return is goaltender Antoine Pellerin (pictured). The 18 year is a native of Repentigny, Quebec.  Pellerin will join the team immediately, as the Storm prepare for the Annual AJHL Showcase weekend in Spruce Grove, AB.
