The Grande Prairie Storm held their first blue-white intersquad game of the 2020-21 Alberta Junior Hockey League Development season on Friday night.
Ethan Strang, who played with the Storm last season, scored four times to pace team White to a come-from-behind 7-5 win over team Blue.
All four of Strang?s goals came in the third period.
Lukas Konashuk, another returning player, Quinn Strang (Swift Current Midget AA) and Kayden Skulmoski (Prince Albert Midget AAA) also scored for team White.
Paycen Bjorklund (Tri City Americans WHL) with a hat trick, Breet Meerman (returning Storm player) and Dayne Tews (Midget AAA Storm) scored for team Blue, who held period leads of 2-1 and 5-2.
The game will be one of several over the next weeks as the team continues to practice for what, hopefully, will be the start of the 2020-2021 AJHL regular season later in the fall.
