In a move made earlier this week, the Grande Prairie Storm traded '00 F Logan Moon to the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL for future considerations. Mark Bomersback, Storm General Manager, had the following to say about the move:
“We needed to get down on our numbers as we had 15 forwards at the time of Moon's reassignment from the Edmonton Oil Kings. We have a good group of young guys and we had to find a way to get them in the lineup more. We weren't expecting to get Moon back from the Oil Kings, and we felt that the guys we brought in to play this year were familiar with our systems, and have been here from the start learning and working hard. We wish Logan all the best and we appreciate the time he spent with the club.”
