The Grande Prairie Storm are pleased to announce that 1998 born defenseman Carter Wolski has committed to the Storm for 2015-2016.
Carter played his minor hockey in Sexsmith before playing Bantam AAA and Midget AAA with the Grande Peace Athletic Club Storm. This past year he was affiliated with the Junior A Storm and played in 5 regular season games. With the GPAC Midget AAA Storm this year he recorded 2 goals-13 assists in 34 games and helped them qualify for the playoffs. Carter and the Midget AAA Storm are currently playing in the Alberta Major Midget North Division Semi-Finals and will be playing game #5 today.
Coach / General Manager Kevin Higo – ” We are very excited to have Carter join the Junior A Storm and be a part of the 2015-2016 team. He was able to gain some valuable experience this past season by practicing and playing games as an affiliate, as well as spend time with players on our current roster. Adding Carter to our roster is a great first step in recruiting for the 2015 AJHL season. The Junior A Storm wish Carter, and the rest of the GPAC Storm the best of luck in game #5.”
