GRANDE PRAIRIE (January 2nd, 2019):
Alex Nordstrom (Hancock, MI) has announced his commitment to attend Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI. The '00-born forward has had strong rookie campaign in the AJHL, with 23 (10-13-23) points in 25 games. Nordstrom joins fellow Storm alumni Dennis Rix & Mark Malekoff in attending Michigan Tech and playing for the Huskies. Nordstrom had the following to say about his next step in his hockey career:
“I grew up watching the Michigan Tech Huskies since I was 5, and it's a dream come true. I'm looking forward to joining them in the future and I'd like to thank all my friends, family, and coaches for the support.”
